Tunnels to Towers Area Climb Stafford Fire Rescue Department. The event was held Sunday, September 14th, 2025 @9:00 AM
Virginia Credit Union Stadium (Fred Nats Stadium), 42 Jackie Robinson Way, Fredericksburg, VA 22401.
This is the 4th year the county has been hosting the event and AHVRS members have been walking or climbing every year! You can climb the stairs or walk around the stadium on the concourse. Support the Aquia Harbour volunteer Rescue Squad team.
Tunnels to Towers history: Born from the tragedy of 9/11, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation carries forward a legacy of courage and heroism. Built upon the mantra, “While we have time, LET US DO GOOD,” the Foundation supports our nation’s fallen and catastrophically injured first responders, military heroes, and their families.
It is a great way to honor the fallen heroes from 9/11. The whole family can participate.

In July the squad hosted a training class on Pediatric assessment taught by AHVRS life member Emmet Price. The students were not only from Aquia Harbour but also 4 other volunteer stations in the County. August training covers respiratory emergencies. Don’t forget to get your flu shot!
A big Thank You to the community for your generous support during our annual fund drive.
We are here for you.
