National Night Out last month was a huge success. The volunteers at the Aquia Harbour
Volunteer Rescue Squad with help from members from Stafford Volunteer Fire department and
Brooke Volunteer Fire Rescue fitted 329 free helmets for the kids and some parents. Safety
education is an important part of our mission. Thanks to all for coming out to visit the booth
that night.

Squad Elections were last month. Our new officers are:
President – Chris Schoon
Vice President – Gwen Vaughan
Treasurer – Natasha Roberts
Recording Secretary – Byron Trafton
Rescue Chief – Angela Wilhelm
Board of Directors – Kayla Haney, Patricia Copeland, Jayne Toellner, and Matt Heindrichs
Officers will be installed at our November meeting.
