It is with great sadness that I am reporting on the loss of one of the Squad’s Life members.
Robert “Bob” Holcombe died on September 6th 2020 surrounded by his family. Bob joined the Aquia Harbour Volunteer Rescue squad in March 2006. He earned his Emergency Medical Technician certification and also became a driver completing the Emergency Vehicle Operator’s Course. His wife Laurie and daughter Janis also joined the squad and served as EMTs. Bob served as squad Treasurer for many years and served on the Squad’s Board of Directors. He was able to bring a consensus to many debates within the organization. Bob had an infectious smile that just lit up the room. He could make you laugh and put many a patient at ease. He will be dearly missed.
