Stafford County Fire and Rescue Awards Night

The Stafford County Fire and Rescue Department honored over 100 of its members in a ceremony on Thursday, April presided over by Fire Chief Mark Lockhart. Assistant Chiefs Joe Grainger, Mark Doyle and Roger Sutherland handed out the awards as the recipients names were announced.

Included in the recipients were several members of the Aquia Harbour Volunteer Rescue Squad. Receiving honors for the Life Saving award were Brody Black, Patricia Byram, Katie Drummond, Melissa Hensel, Lynn Platt, Manuel Reyes, Jayne Toellner, and Ashley Winget.
