September is going to a busy month. Several events are happening
September 10- the 9/11 Stair climb at Fred Nats stadium in Fredericksburg. the Stafford County Fire and Rescue Department is excited to announce its first 9/11 Stair Climb and Walk, a proud supporter of the Tunnels 2 Towers Foundation. Please note, T-shirts are available for order until August 15th. Additional t-shirts will be available on the day of the event on a first come, first serve basis. More information on the Stafford county Fire Rescue Web site an Facebook page.

On September 29th Stafford County Fire Rescue Volunteer will be holding and open house/ Recruitment event at Stafford County Volunteer Fire Department at 305 Jason Mooney Dr. off Courthouse Road from 5-8pm. There will be Fire and EMS apparatus for the public to tour. There will be demo stations and hands on first learning stations. A food truck and ice cream truck will also be there. Come out and meet our hometown Fire and Rescue Volunteer Team.
Our volunteers complete the same training as career providers, we just volunteer our time to the community.
