June 1-7th is National CPR and AED awareness Week....

but anytime is a good time to learn CPR and how to use an AED(Automatic External Defibrillator).

I have asked before and I will ask again. Do you know CPR? Here is a short quiz to see what you remember.
1. When you start CPR?
a. When someone won’t respond, has a pulse but not breathing
b. When someone is unresponsive, not breathing, and no pulse
c. When someone is unresponsive, has a pulse and is breathing

2. What is the correct rate of compressions for adult CPR?
a. 60 - 100compressions per minutes
b. 80-100 compressions
c. 100-120 compressions per minute
d. At least 120 compressions per minute

3. What is the correct ratio of compressions to ventilations for 1 rescuer Adult CPR?
a. 15 compressions to 2 breaths
b. 5 compressions to 1 breath
c. 30 compressions to 2 breaths
d. 20 compressions to 2 breaths

4. Can you use an AED on a drowning victim? YES NO

5. It is OK to just do chest compressions if the victim needs CPR and you don’t have a barrier device for giving breaths.
