Life Member of the Aquia Harbour Volunteer Rescue Squad Michael K. Toellner passed away Friday, June 17, 2016 at this home. Mike was a valued member of the squad having served in several officer positions and ran duty as an EMT/driver. Overseas job assignments and illness kept him from participating on the ambulance in recent years. Mike was still attending membership meetings as recent as this passed April.

From Rescue Chief Patricia Copeland

Thanks to Stafford Sheriff's Office and Fredericksburg PD for getting us through traffic, Dispatch for Last Call, Mission BBQ for lunch, Chaplain Pete Shoar, and Aquia Harbour Volunteer Rescue Squad for being the type of squad that takes care of its own! Thank you Stafford County Fire & Rescue - we are one family!
